The Global Child Health and Safety Initiative has recognised Meadow Hall Edutainment Centre for her contribution to nurturing and inspiring creativity in children.
Meadow Hall Edutainment Centre was given a Friends of Children award for Child’s Psychomotor Development at the Well-Child Conference that held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel on Saturday, 20th January 2018.
Presenting the award, the Executive Director of the Global Child Health and Safety Initiative, Mr. Charles Onyenaucheya, commended Meadow Hall Edutainment Centre for paying attention to not only the academic, but also the co-curricular needs of children by helping them become well-rounded individuals as their innate talents are identified and developed.
The event was well attended by stakeholders in education and children’s needs, such as Mrs. Bolanle Ambode, First Lady of Lagos State; Dr. Annette Akinsete, CEO, Sickle Cell Foundation; amongst others. Also recognised for their lifetime achievements and Friends of Children awards were Dr. (Mrs.) Folorunsho Alakija, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, Ms. Agatha Amata, and Lady Bethy Obieri.
Meadow Hall prides itself as “the place to excel” in academics and multiple intelligences. Meadow Hall is committed to excellence and is passionate about the holistic development of children. Meadow Hall Edutainment Centre is a place where children develop a myriad of skills while having fun and become well-rounded individuals as their innate talents are identified and developed. The Centre is open to all children from age 3 months to 12 years.
In a bid to reach out to more children from other schools, the Meadow Hall Edutainment Centre organised an Open House Day on Saturday 3rd February, 2018 at its Lekki Phase 1 Centre. The Open House served as an opportunity for intending parents to see the facilities, meet the staff, ask questions and get a feel of all that the Centre offers. Some of the programmes offered by the Edutainment Centre include Afternoon Adventure, Bookarama, STEM, Learning Hub, Arts and Crafts, Music, Sports and Language academies as well as a modern Crèche.
