Objectives

Meadow Hall Teacher Training Institute exists to:

equip a new generation of dedicated teachers with practical teaching skills needed to face the challenges of the 21st century
increase employment opportunities of NCE graduates
bridge the skills gap between teacher trainees and an effective workforce
create and prepare a pool of teachers equipped with essential skills and character critical for being an outstanding employee

Philosophy

Meadow Hall Teacher Institute is a National Certificate in Education (NCE) award institution with the mandate to improve the quality of teachers in Nigeria. As a subsidiary of Meadow Hall Group, the institution is established to equip teachers with technical and soft skills needed to deliver a 21st century education. We subscribe to Sustainable Development Goals and the urgency to prepare over 69 million teachers needed by 2030 for primary and secondary education to meet the SDG 4 education targets as estimated by United Nation Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).

Our main drive is to bridge the quality gap in the teacher training sector and create a pool of professional and effective teachers for infant, primary and secondary schools. We hope to achieve this through:
