Omotola Samuel Oni is the Head of Meadow Hall Foundation, which is focused on providing underprivileged children with quality and well-rounded education. In his role as Head of the Foundation, he provides strategic direction, leadership and drives collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders.

Tola has a cumulative experience of over two decades in various sectors cutting across nonprofit and for-profit. He graduated as the 2003 best graduating student of the Department of History at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria where he bagged a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in History. At Northwestern University, Illinois, USA he completed the Business and Entrepreneurship Institute as part of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, where he received the Northwestern/Robert & Charlene Shaw award for excellence. He is an alumnus of Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA) and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan Atlantic University.

He is a Startingbloc Fellow and an awardee of the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Youth with Enterprise and Innovation in Nigeria (YouWIN) program and a recipient of the National Youth Service Corps Entrepreneurship Development Project Award.

At the moment he is conducting a research on sustainability models for CSOs/NGOs with focus on alternative and contemporary sources of funding.

He serves as a volunteer coach and mentor to over 2000 teachers and school owners on the Teachers Professional Development Social Media Network.  He is on the Beyond School Challenge Team of the Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association and is involved in the Diamond Challenge for High School Entrepreneurs a University of Delaware programme.

Tola is passionate about youth and women development and the eradication of extreme poverty in the world through quality education.
