Meadow Hall Foundation, a subsidiary of Meadow Hall Group that partners with individuals, public and private organisations to implement developmental initiatives, projects and programmes that support students, teachers, public schools and communities, on Wednesday 13th December organised a Christmas party for pupils of its adopted school, Ilasan Primary School in Eti-Osa Local Government of Lagos state.
Speaking at the programme, which is running for the third year, the Head Teacher of the school, Comrade S.O. Kayode, thanked Meadow Hall Foundation for their unwavering support for the school and for the many projects that have been carried out since they were adopted by the Foundation.
The occasion was attended by Olori L.A. Afolabi, who represented the Baale of Idado; Sir Demola Aladekomo, Chairman, Meadow Hall Foundation; Mr. Charles Imevbore, Executive Director, Business Affairs, Meadow Hall Group; Mr. M.O. Lawal, Chairman, Parents’ Forum, Ilasan Primary School; Mr. Moses Mogbolu, Head of Sales and Marketing, Meadow Hall Group; Mrs. Kemi Adewoye, Head, Meadow Hall Foundation amongst other notable guests.
The pupils and teachers were treated to a delicious meal and drinks after which the children spent a lot of time dancing and participating in various games.
Drinks were provided for all the pupils by Coca Cola Nigeria; and exciting prizes were presented to the top three students in each year group and to the neatest male and female students in the school by Unity Bank Plc.
Sir Demola Aladekomo, Chairman of Meadow Hall Foundation, commended the school administrators for taking good care of the property and surrounding areas; and promised that more facilities will be donated to the school.
The Chairman of Ilasan Primary School’s Parents’ Forum, Mr. M.O. Lawal expressed gratitude to Meadow Hall Foundation and noted how happy the children were. He also said the event has become one that they look forward to every year.
Meadow Hall Foundation has a host of other developmental initiatives. Some of such initiatives to look forward to in 2018 include Graduate Teachers’ Trainee Programme; Free Teacher Professional Development Training for Public School Teachers; and the Education Convention and Inspirational Educators Awards(INSEA).
