The week-long COBIS Compliance and Accreditation Visit was highly rigorous, and it is to Meadow Hall’s credit that it passed with flying colours. During the visit, COBIS’ representatives spoke to teaching and non-teaching staff, parents and students and also thoroughly reviewed all the classrooms, processes and outdoor facilities to come up with their verdict.
The peer accreditation team from COBIS focused on the COBIS compliance system, which includes Recruitment, Student Welfare, Facilities, Governance, Ethos & Values and Boarding; and COBIS accrediting standards, which covers Learning & Teaching and Leadership in the School. In all categories, Meadow Hall received an excellent rating, with them meeting and exceeding the standard required in all categories.
